About the Role
Shamrock Trading Corporation is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support vendor contracts, renewals, and vendor intake processes across the organization. Procurement partners with business teams, IT, project teams, and other internal groups to ensure vendor agreements are structured effectively, risks are reviewed prior to execution, and vendor relationships are managed throughout the contract lifecycle.
This role will play an important part in managing vendor contract renewals, supporting contract negotiations, and maintaining visibility into vendor agreements across the organization. The position will also support vendor intake coordination and procurement process improvements as the procurement function continues to evolve.
What You’ll Do
- Support vendor contract reviews and coordinate with legal and internal stakeholders.
- Manage and track vendor contract renewals, ensuring agreements are reviewed proactively and negotiated when appropriate
- Partner with procurement leadership to prepare for vendor renewal negotiations and identify cost optimization opportunities
- Assist in coordinating vendor intake requests with PMO, IT, and business stakeholders
- Maintain vendor records, contract documentation, and renewal calendars
- Support vendor negotiations and assist in improving vendor terms and pricing structures
- Perform basic spend analysis and reporting to help identify cost management opportunities
- Support procurement activities across multiple categories including technology, services, and facilities-related contracts
- Assist with procurement process improvements as the organization continues to scale vendor management practices
- Support the full contract lifecycle from intake through renewal
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree required.
- 3–6 years of procurement, vendor management, contract management, or sourcing experience
- Experience managing vendor contracts and renewals
- Working knowledge of contract terms and conditions
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across business and technical teams
- Analytical mindset with the ability to review vendor pricing and agreements
- Experience working cross-functionally on complex initiatives or vendor engagements
